Side Effects of Marriage

Here we come to this very interesting topic.. 'Shaadi', 'Marriage' or 'Holy Union', whatever u may choose to call it.. let me give u my take on it.. its purely unbiased and without any prejudice for sure ;)

Let me start from the start.. I was just logging on to my facebook account and those people put up a notification saying.. 'Share your advice/experiences on marriage and win a 50$ coupon..' Huh I thought.. a 50$ coupon for advice on a priceless issue.. how ridiculous.. :) )

So that gave me the idea for my next blog topic.. muahahaha.. These days all I have been eating, drinking, sleeping is my blog.. It has become my inspiration to live.. LOL.. now u can guess how much my life is lacking in motivation and any useful direction.. (those of u who r thinking I have nuthin better to do.. let me clarify.. u r righttttt! Lol)

Now here comes the myths and realities of marriage:

Myth No. 1: Marriage gives u a direction in life.
Reality: Marriage gives u that direction wriggling out of which will be the struggle of a lifetime.. lol.. If u are already on a stable direction.. hold on to it for dear life.. that may be the last sensible direction u will ever be treading on..

Myth No. 2: Marriage gives u a soul mate to share ur problems, ur troubles and someone to be by ur side always..
Reality: Soul mate? Are u insane? If u believe in soul mates then u must also be believing in dragons, superman, spiderman and the likes.. hah! As about sharing ur problems with someone.. imagine this.. imagine a person coming into ur life with a million problems of his own.. u will be so busy pondering over his troubles that u will for sure forget ur own.. hahaha!

Myth No. 3: Marriage gives u a sense of responsibility.
Reality: I agree.. yes.. u read it right.. I agree completely on this one.. but not in the sense u think.. for everything that goes wrong after marriage.. the only responsible person will be “YOU’. Mark my words.. infact I say emboss them in gold..

Myth No. 4: Marriage is the best thing to happen to someone.
Reality: Whoever says this.. smack them hard.. marriage is certainly the best thing to have happened to someone looking for the painless form of suicide.. muahahhahaa..

Myth No. 5: Marriage has made us understand each other better.
Reality: Don’t even get me started on this one.. U think a guy can understand whats going on with me at any point of time? And I’m not even talking about the emotional connection.. no wayyyyyy.. We r too emotional n complicated creatures for a guy to even come 1% close to understanding our psyche.

After reading this if u still decide to go ahead and marry.. u r doing so at ur own risk.. after all what can I do if u r plainly stupid.. LOL
